My Kawaii Review on Canmake Cream Cheek

Good Morning Lovelies! Sorry for being MIA again this past weeks. Anyway, have I told you already that I'm not into makeup products? Well I only have two simple reasons for that. First is I'm not good in applying them and the second reason is I'm too scared to what they would do to my face. *LOL Last month, I'd encountered this brand that is really irritating to use. My face got oilier and greasy every time I used their product. And the worst part is they gave me these nasty breakouts that I didn't expected to happen. Seriously, I treated them for almost two months. Yet, here I go again. Still hunting for perfect makeup brand that suits my skin. Then I found Canmake.

Canmake is a cosmetic brand started in 1986. It is a brand endorsed not only by teenagers and young office workers, but also by professional makeup artists because of its cute packaging, vivid colors and natural ingredients that doesn't hurt even the most sensitive skin.

Ha! let's see if this product works for me.

I've been collecting cream cheeks before, way back when I'm in college. Oh well, I love cream cheeks in general and I was delighted to try Canmake's Cream Cheek CL03 which I'll be reviewing today.

 

Upon my research, I learned that CL shades are the translucent gel creams that do not contain any shimmer, unlike Canmake's earlier cream cheek shades. The blush compact is small and made of clear plastic which is elegant to look. It's also very light and easy to bring everywhere. Although I suggest that they put a translated version of its description for us to read as well as its expiration date. That's the downside of Japanese makeup products.

 

I choose this shade because it blends well on my skin tone. Its texture is quite solid gel/cream in the pan, but melt when rubbed with the fingers and transfer on the skin very easily. It smells so sweet that reminds me of a cotton candy. I've been using this cream cheek for almost a week now and I can say that I started to love this product. So far it didn't gave me any breakouts and the greasiness feeling. Plus points! Its staying power is quite good although I opted to re-apply it on the afternoon. For an instant tip, it can double up as your lip color. What a great product right? All in all Canmake cream cheek is a winner! I'm looking forward to try their other products too.
