Product Review: #StayHappy with Happy Skin Lippie

Happy New Year everyone! For my first blog post this 2016, I will share my quick review of the current lipstick from Happy Skin that I'm obsessing about - the #HappySkinReadMyLips in #StayHappy shade.

Along with Happy Skin's newly opened branch at Glorietta 4 last year in November, they launched another set of lippies that every girl will surely love. The #HappySkinReadMyLips Collection comes into four different sets namely: How to Make Beauty Effortless Lip & Cheek Mousse Set, How to Conquer the World Moisturizing Lip Lacquer Set, How to Make a Statement Moisturizing Matte Lippie Set and How to Take the Perfect Selfie Moisturizing Set.

So who among you got them already? well, mine's not a complete set because I received this as gift from an old friend of mine. This Shut Up & Kiss Me #StayHappy lippie is included on How To Make the Perfect Selfie Collection. Though I'm planning to get its whole set this month.

To be honest, I am coward when it comes into lipstick. I am afraid that the shade I will be using doesn't suit my warm skin tone. But I just couldn't give it up because I look so pale without it. Normally I go for nude and light shades most of the time. So when I received and saw this lippie, I was a bit skeptical to use it because of its orange-y earthy color. But since it's from my favorite brand Happy Skin, I consider this as an exemption. Well hellooo! who in the world doesn't know about this brand. And besides Happy Skin's products are raved by so many people particularly their wide range of lipstick.

As for its packaging, I admire how Happy Skin creatively packed their lippies in a cutesy colorful tube that looks like crayons. I felt like I'm on my childhood days again. haha. Oh and btw I'm such a sucker of cute packaging so plus points for this.

It’s earthy shade is such a friendly colour that it goes with almost any outfit and it’s also my new ‘my lips but better’ shade. I am really glad that I tried this. It’s a bit darker in person but once you applied it it actually looks more natural. I wasn’t disappointed the first time I swiped it on to my lips – it glided smoothly and left an opaque, evened-out hue. Its staying power longed for about 3 - 4 hours based on my experience so I need to re-apply it after eating or had a couple of drinks.

Happy Skin’s lippies are loaded with Shea butter and Collagen, making sure our lips in lip-lockin' shape and hydrated throughout the day. And since their lippies got the moisturizing properties of a balm, I don't need to apply any lip balm on my lips first. Overall, I love how this lippie makes my lips seductively beautiful; it gives me the warm feeling of sexiness and confidence to start my day happy. Perfectly fit for its name!
